Ballistics 2011 Kiteboard Camp
About: Ballistics is running its SECOND dedicated Kiteboard Camp which will take place over 3 days at a top secret location north of Auckland on March 18th to the 20th. The camp is dedicated to anyone who is mad keen on kiteboarding but can already fly a kite and needs help learning to ride upwind up to anyone wanting to learn advanced unhooked tricks.
When: Friday 18th, Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th March. The camp will be held over 3 days and 2 nights, commencing on Friday morning and ending on Sunday.
What’s Included: The Ballistics Kiteboard Camp will include three days of riding with a high ratio of coaches to riders which will ensure you are well looked after. This is your chance to learn from the best!
We are offering coaching in a range of different riding styles and conditions suitable for learners freeriding upwind to more advanced freestyle, jumps and hoofie Lalas, unhooked wake style and even wave-surf riding! We will also be offering loads of other options from wakeskating, standup paddle boarding and surfing (dependant on the conditions)
If there is no wind a cable park will be on hand for an additional $40 per person
Fri, Sat nights accommodation is provided and all meals on Friday, Saturday and breakfast and lunch on Sunday
A range of Demo kites will be on offer to try but it is recommended that you bring your own equipment to learn on.
How Much: $399 for everything listed above YEOWWWW!!!! (excludes cable park)
Transport: You will have to make your own way to the camp, but if coming on your own car pooling will be available .
What to Bring: Bring your own kite gear, wetsuits, boardies etc. Your own linen/sleeping bags and surfboard. Only some Alcohol will be provided so bring that too!
