Looking to satisfy your kid's appetite for flying off jumps, sending side-hits, and jibbing boxes? Pick up the Burton Kids' Process Smalls Snowboard for soft-flexing freestyle performance with plenty of pop, straight-line stability, and catch-free confidence. This true twin is based off the regular-sized version of the Process; the main difference between this board and the one ridden by the pros lies within its softer flex profile tuned for lighter riders as well as its Flat Top profile.
Flat Top offers a fully flat profile between the bindings, providing stability for charging fast without the aggressive feel of traditional camber. After the binding inserts, the board's rockered/early-rise tip and tail instill a more forgiving, catch-free feel in the terrain park, especially on boxes and rails. Another cool feature found on this freestyle board are In-Mold Filet-O-Flex pads. These pads allow Burton's designers to thin-out the board in key areas to increase overall flexibility without sacrificing the board's ability to absorb impact and withstand abuse in the terrain park.
Under the hood of this freestyle board, the Process Smalls features a FSC Certified Super Fly 800G Core for ultra-light freestyle feel and soft-tuned flex for lighter riders. Scooped tip and tail shapes turn up the edges for a looser, skate-like ride that's not as catchy on boxes and rails. Speaking of boxes and rails, the Process Smalls features a Rail Ready edge tune for catch-free turn initiation and jibbing.
